This was really the first of the Weston Meter range. It was made in 1932 by Weston Electrical Instrument Corporation at their Newark, New Jersey plant, and was originally sold for $40. As you can see from the pictures, it was a beautiful piece of equipment. After just 2 years, it was replaced by the single cell 617-2.
